Licensed Security Services Provider in San Antonio and Austin

When your safety and security is at stake, you cannot trust just anyone. A mistake made in a life and death situation can have catastrophic results. That is why you should only choose a security services provider who is licensed in the state of Texas and holds their employees to the highest standards.

Unlike some other security jobs in the field, there are no strict education requirements that are necessary to become a bodyguard. That means some employers for bodyguards will require that their personal protection officers have a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and that’s it. That’s simply not good enough for Statewide Patrol. We hire the best, so that we can promise you the best! Statewide Patrol believes that our quality training and informed officers help to provide the most professional security services available to you in Texas.

Many of our bodyguards have formal training in personal security, police science, law enforcement, or criminal justice. We also recommend they complete a bodyguard training program. We do this because it is extremely important that a professional learn all of the tactical skills that will be needed to create plans and strategies to protect you as their clients in various different scenarios. Of course, they’ll need to be physically fit, so it is important that they receive fitness training to prepare them for the physically rigorous duties. They need strong stamina and long endurance because the course of a typical day at work protecting you may include the need to run, jump, crouch, or any other physical activity.

We believe strongly in an extensive initial training program. Every officer is issued a Statewide Patrol Inc. procedure manual, which is the foundation of his or her training. This classroom training, by veteran officers and management, covers state law, report writing, safety and emergency procedures, and public relations. We then follow up the initial training with required continuing education, advanced certifications, and written notices of changing policy.

It isn’t over when they’re hired. We also provide our guards with constant updates on new safety concerns, public notices, and criminal developments. All Statewide Patrol officers receive on-site training from a field supervisor at every new location they are assigned. Does this sound like the kind of security you want? We use the electronic Deggy® Guard Tour System. This allows our officers to easily report events and record the exact date, time, and location of our inspections. This system provides further proof that the services were actually performed, allowing us to deliver a higher quality service.
